Administrative Law: Anatomy of a Contested Case Hearing

Contested case proceedings held pursuant to Minnesota Statutes chapter 14 are typically required when a proposed governmental action may directly impact the legal rights, duties, or privileges of an individual or group of individuals. This session will follow the typical life cycle of a contested case and address best practices from prehearing practice through arguments and exceptions before a final agency decisionmaker.
