Minnesota Attorney General’s Office named top employer for veterans

VETS Indexes 4 Star Employer Award highlights AG Ellison’s commitment to hiring, retaining, and supporting veterans

April 19, 2024 (SAINT PAUL) — Attorney General Ellison announced today that the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office has been selected as a VETS Indexes 4 Star Employer in the 2024 VETS Indexes Employer Awards. The award recognizes the Office’s commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing, and supporting veterans and the military-connected community.

When reviewing and selecting employers for the VETS Indexes Employer Awards, VETS Index analyzes employers’ policies, practices, and outcomes in detail, across the following five categories:

“The extraordinary efforts of the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General to hire, retain and support veterans and the military-connected community have earned the organization one of our highest awards,” said George Altman, president of VETS Indexes.

“Competition for the VETS Indexes Employer Awards was tougher than ever in 2024, as a record number of organizations participated.
