Minnesota Attorney General's Office named a top workplace for second year in a row

Ranked #9 among midsize organizations, up from #51 in 2021; one of only 4 government entities to receive this honor

June 28, 2022 (SAINT PAUL) — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is proud to announce that the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office has been recognized as a Top Workplace for the second consecutive year by the StarTribune. Additionally, the Office climbed the rankings from 51st place in 2021 to 9th place this year among midsize organizations, which employ 150-499 staff. This is the second workplace honor bestowed on the Attorney General’s Office this year, as it also was named a Top Workplace USA in February 2022.

“From the beginning of my time as Attorney General, I have been intentional about establishing a culture of collaboration, active listening, and genuine partnership,” said Attorney General Keith Ellison. “These values have been consistently practiced and reinforced across teams and in shared leadership and inclusive decision-making.  I am truly very proud of the work that comes out of our office and of the dedication demonstrated by our talented staff every day. I am also grateful to work with exceptional leaders that support, empower, and encourage our colleagues so they can do the best possible work for the people of Minnesota.

“Our work is not over; we are driven to continue to be deserving of recognitions like this one by evolving our workplace to meet the demands of the times placed on our staff as they seek to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect,” Attorney General Ellison concluded.
