Minnesota Attorney General's Office named a Top Workplace for third consecutive year

Ranked #10 among midsize organizations; only government entity among 200 honored

June 13, 2023 (SAINT PAUL) — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is proud to announce that the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office has been recognized as a StarTribune Top Workplace for the third consecutive year. The Attorney General’s Office is ranked #10 among 70 midsize organizations and is the only government entity to be honored among the 200 organizations of all sizes recognized as Top Workplaces.

This year’s honor comes after being named a StarTribune Top Workplace in 2022 and 2021. The Attorney General’s Office was also named a Top Workplace USA in 2023 and 2022.

“I am very grateful for this honor, which is a recognition not for me but for every staff member of the Attorney General’s Office,” Attorney General Ellison said. “While it has been a top priority of mine to establish a culture of collaboration, listening, and transparency throughout our organization, we would not have succeeded without the willing and active participation and feedback of people in every corner of the Office. The greatest honor for me is to be their colleague.

“We are not resting here,” Attorney General Ellison continued. “We are continuing to push ourselves constructively toward our goal of being the best public law office anywhere in America, one that does everything we can every single day to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect.”
